The team is owned by T1 Entertainment & Sports, a joint venture between Comcast Spectacor and SK Telecom. T1 has a long history in the world of esports, with teams competing in a variety of games such as League of Legends, Overwatch, and Fortnite. The organization’s origins can be traced back to 2003, when it was founded as SK Telecom T1 and focused on the popular MOBA game, League of Legends. T1 has had numerous successes in League of Legends, including winning the world championship four times.
